ABOUT

Hey! My name is Veronika. I found Strong AF in 2022 when I finally made the decision to do something useful with my passion for fitness and help clients achieve their health and fitness goals. My coaching is not just about physical fitness though; I am a strong believer that there are three elements needed to establish and maintain a new healthy lifestyle; exercise, nutrition and adoption of new behaviours. I call it The Big Three. So my coaching is also about mental fitness and behaviour change.

BENEFITS OF WORKING OUT

Weight loss and management

Regular exercise significantly lessens your chances of becoming overweight or obese. Engaging in regular exercise allows you to burn calories consumed through the food you eat.

Increased life expectancy and reduced risk of illness and disease

Exercise is a key to living longer and a better quality of life. Exercise reduces your chance of getting heart disease or cancer, and of course reduces your risk of dying from these diseases. And it's never too late to start exercising!

Increased confidence and self-esteem

Physical exercise can improve our confidence by making us feel good about our physique and abilities. As our fitness abilities improve, we start feeling and looking better and healthier and what is a better way to increase our confidence and self-esteem that that?!

Improved mood and reduced feelings of anxiety and depression

Exercise releases the body's feel-good chemicals called endorphins. It takes your mind off worries so you can get away from the cycle of negative thoughts that feed depression and anxiety.

Improved brain health and memory increased concentration

Exercise boosts blood flow into two key regions of the brain associated with memory. Exercise can also boost memory and thinking indirectly by improving mood and sleep, and by reducing stress and anxiety. Aerobic exercise in particular, is very beneficial for maintaining brain health, even in people who are at risk for developing dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
